EVENT INFORMATION

There are a few things we'll need to know in order to arrange the perfect event for you and your guests. Below are just a few things I'll ask when working with you to plan your special occasion.

STAGING OF THE EVENT
What time will guests arrive?

Will you need access to the Barn before that to set up anything? I suggest 30-45 minutes for cocktailing and appetizers (if selected), and starting the meal after that.
Should we anticipate the group playing games or having announcements before or after the dinner? We like to know if we should clean up to give you space for things like games, or leave you undisturbed if there are announcements or awards being presented.

MEAL OPTIONS
Consider what courses of the meal you would like to offer—hosts usually select a main course and then add courses like appetizers and dessert based on the type of evening you are providing for the guests, but sometimes an all appetizers or a themed meal is more appropriate, so anything goes!
The most popular meal option right now for a casual dinner is the BBQ Meats and Sides for $11.95 for two meats and two sides or $14.95 for three meats and three sides as it is perfect for any group and very cost effective. One of my favorite options for large group is the Whole Hog Roast or, for a classy dinner or celebration, offer a Smoked Prime Rib carving Station!

RENTAL ITEMS
In The Barn all disposable dinnerware will be provided and is free of charge (plates, cups, silverware, napkins, etc). However, we do have glass items available to rent. Glass plates are $1 per person and flatware is $.50 per person. Glassware is $.50/ glass per person or $1.50/ person for access to all glassware. This would include rocks glasses for liquor drinks, beer mugs, wine glasses, water glasses, coffee mugs, etc. (The wine will be served in wine glasses either way. If you choose to not rent glassware then we add $.25 to the cost of each glass.) Otherwise all drinks (except wine) will be served in disposable cups.

BEVERAGE SELECTIONS
Non-alcoholic -
Unlimited assorted non-alcoholic beverages of soda, coffee, and lemonade for $2.25, charged per person.
Alcoholic - Choose between the Basic Alcohol Beverage Menu or the Premium Alcohol Beverage Menu for Barn Bar Beverages.

All of these options can be found here: Beverages.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS
Welcome Sign
- We like to set out a welcome sign in front of the entrance to The Barn. What would you like this to read? Some examples are "Welcome to the 2011 Christmas Party" or "Thanks for another great year, 'Company Name' Employees."
Payment - What will you request guests to pay for? For beverages, a "Cash Bar" means that guests pay for their own beverages, and a "Host Bar" means that the host pays for all beverages. There are many in-between options too, such as hosts pay for non-alcoholic and guests for alcoholic, or hosts providing a few drink tickets per person, and more. When it comes to meal items, the host typically pays for these, but based on the event, sometimes it is acceptable for hosts to accept payment at the door from their guests.
I will email you an invoice of the items decided for you to look over, ask questions if needed, and approve. We can then accept payment that night or prior.
If you'd like to pay that evening, whom should we anticipate looking to for payment at the end of the night? Otherwise we can hold a credit card on file to charge so no one needs worry about it at the end of the evening.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or need more information on something. I'm happy to help!
